National Voluntary Blood Donation & Posthumous Eye Donation Day [2nd November, 2013]
National Voluntary Blood Donation & Posthumous Eye Donation Day is an important day which emphasis on launching a social movement for posthumous eye donation to diminish the number of visually impaired people in the country. The event also emphasis on creating awareness amongst all people about the importance of giving blood. “National Volunteer Blood Donation & Posthumous Eye Donation Day” day is celebrated on 2 November every year in Bangladesh. This event is basically organized by Sondhani Foundation. In this year, the event was held through a cycle-ride where 87 people were participated from SSMC Cyclist, Doridro Charity Foundation, Blood Solider, Mastul and Green Bengal Cyclists. Doridro Charity Foundation was basically participated in this event as a strategic event partner.
